Eternal Life—God’s Greatest Gift

A Gift for You This Christmas

The Messiah Has Come

Eternal Life—God’s Greatest Gift

A Sin Nature Inherited

Because the first man (Adam) chose to sin, we too became sinners.

Sin has a price that must be paid for by each of us. The Bible says, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12)

A Savior was Sent

God knew that there was only one way to save all of us from our sin. He loves us so much that He gave His Son, Jesus, to die for our sin. Christmas is when Jesus Christ was born.

We celebrate Christmas because He came to save us. The Bible says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6) “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” (Mathew 1:21)

A Simple Choice to Make

The purpose of Jesus being born as a baby was so that He could give His life for us. He is the gift that God has given to us. Romans 6:23 states, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

We must simply choose either to receive Him and what He did for us, or the the payment ourselves. If we choose Him, all we have to do is admit and believe that Jesus, as God’s Son, died for our sins (paid the payment) and lives again.

If you have not done so, will you please turn to God?

Recognize what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross, ask God to save you, and put your complete trust in Him today.
